TUBBING...

in these last few days before i head out to los angeles for what will undoubtedly be one of the most exciting adventures of my life, i've been updating and uploading a back log of videos to my xtube channel and my youtube channel.

WHATS MY SIGN?

how nuts is this? now theres a question mark hovering over collective heads leaving us to wonder "have we been following the wrong zodiac"? its a crazy story. the idea that after all these years of thinking we're one sign, it turns out that we're actually a different sign... the one right before our perceived sign. how can one adjust to this? our astrological identification defines us to one extent or another. some of us, you'll agree embody our zodiac affiliations to the hilt. and what about all of us who are in love with our birth stones? can you imagine all the sapphire jewelry that has to be exchanged?!

on the other hand, im curious... if you're someone who absolutely hates their sign, would you jump at the chance at changing it? to go from being a virgo to a leo could be the best thing to happen to someone this new year. i for one am totally and completely IN LOVE and happy to be a pisces. its who i am... im shy, a total romantic, extremely trustworthy, sometimes aloof, incredibly creative, very empathetic, and maybe a little unrealistic at times. i love nature, music, poetry, mystical settings, my freedom, and my privacy when i want to be left alone. im not too keen on a lot of noise, large crowds, disorganization, tight spaces and to some extent authority, meaning i like to be in charge.

after hearing the news, i sorta freaked out. i do not want to be aquarius! my father is an aquarius!! oh heeelllll no! ok, so i looked at the google to find out more about all this madness and you know what i found out?! I AM A PISCES! turns out, even with the inclusion of ophiuchus, my birthday, march 16th falls right in pisces! as a matter of fact, those of us born between march 11th and 18th are ALL, STILL pisces! however, instead of being the last sign in the zodiac, we become the third. kinda weird because i read once that those of us who are pisces have lived lives in each sign and by the time we reincarnate to pisces, he have or should have learned everything this is to learn on this level of existence and should be wiser and ready to elevate to the next level. according to the new chart... that would be sagittarius now. oy, i dont wanna relive that one again!

ROAD TO LOS ANGELES...

the past couple of weeks has been a bit of a whirl wind. i started purging a ton of crap in mid december. well, it wasn't all crap, just stuff i could live without. but the surprising thing about all the things i went through dumping it was just how much one individual can accumulate in just one year. aside from the books, magazines and momentos that have a special meaning for me, there was so much more junk. one thing i had to pry away from my "deisre" to keep was a stock pile of back issues of HX and NEXT magazines that i appear in. i got it into my head that i would eventually scan the pages im in then upload them to my website. if you saw the two big crates i had... you'd be like 'really mike"? i did however keep a few copies of HX with me on the cover. i also dumped, by way of giving to my neighbor who is in need... i gave him a bunch of clothes i didnt want anymore. old sweaters, shorts, tshirts... etc. he was very grateful.

so, as it stands, i have two big boxes of things i have to ship out west. one is a box of all my dvds including copies of all my films and favorite books. the other box is full of clothes and all my leather. i tried figureing out how to pack it all, but theres just too much. i figure, if i ship them UPS ground on the 26th, it'll arrive in LA the day i arrive on the 1st or the 3rd, or something like that. today, i just picked up my laundry. its the final batch of clothes i have to go through and edit before the move. there might be some things i dont really want to take with me. i'll leave them at my parent's place for when i visit. LOL!

aside from that i have my entire life packed in a suitcase, a dufflebag full of shoes, a carryon with my underwear and socks and my back pack that will have my computer and travel kit consisting of baby wipes, toothpaste and a couple of condoms and lube... just in case. you never know when something might pop up or i punch another hole in my mile high club card!
