FOLSOM WRAP UP...

i had dinner with conner habib (winner of the gayvn for best newcomer) last night at lime and we got to chatting about this past week of events including the GayVNs and how we'll see a boat load of "wrap up" blogs, facebook and tweets. i kinda thought about doing a blow(job) by blow(job) report but to be honest, its too much fuckin work. its impossible to keep up with everyone, all the parties and bar crawls. so true to form i posted my "award goes too..." post as i always do. its pretty much what everyone wants to know. what i think you should do, that is if you are a REAL porn fan, is come to the events where you'll not only meet your favorite porn star, but meet the people behind the scenes. seriously. i met a guy this weekend who not only follows we performers, but he follows the careers of the directors and producers. which i found way cool. its because of them that we're in front of the camera.

CHECKIN IN : 2010 FOLSOM/GAYVN WEEKEND...

hey gang! so its been a pretty busy week so far and none of the events have started yet. well, tonight it starts but ive been all over san francisco since last wednesday.

last friday was the official kick off of folsom with the raising of the leather pride flag and leather walk that starts at the Harvey Milk Station in the castro, down market street to a few bars in the soma area. i was invited to join the festivities. although i LOVE to walk, i mean i walk all over new york city, this walk was crazy long with stops along the way at chaps bar, powerhouse bar and ending at the san francisco eagle. LOVE the SF Eagle! AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!

i think the the biggest adventure ive had so far is checking out the St. James Infirmary where my good friend and sister of perpetual indulgence Sister MaeJoy B. WithU is a counselor. while i was there, i decided to take advantage of their services and learn more. i experienced my first ever full body acupuncture treatment. i always wanted to try it but never had the opportunity. after all the needles were in i felt very calm and relaxed. the shoulder pain ive had for a while now is far less apparent and feels very good. my emotional stress is gone and i feel very focused and happier than ive been in years. i simply let go and let my body tune itself and realign... HIGLY RECOMMENDED!

the last couple of days has been all about the gym. i'd take the week before off then when i got here to san francisco i just didnt feel like working out. bad! when i finally got to work out it felt like i was starting from scratch... the progression in weight i made over the last few months was set back by 10 pounds. BUT... my shoulder feels awesome!

tonight im headed to a cocktail party at this really cool restaurant in the castro, on 18th street called EUREKA. then im off to the Erotic Film Festival Awards. this is not the GayVNs but another awards show and event that ive never heard of before. im thinking there'll be lots of vajayjay celebration. then, im headed to LIME to support my bro and friend Tristan Jaxx who is spinning. theres also a Rufskin fashion show as well and Tristan will be spinning in undies! LOL! after that its the bar crawl... every hot spot in soma is hosting one of the major porn studios. its gonna be like hit one spot, have a brew, dash to the next, have a tequila shot, dash to the next for more brews then stagger back to the castro! maybe i'll get a ride!

SAN FRANCISCO ON THE BRAIN...

this holiday weekend was a complete bust when i got word that my trip and gig to new orleans were both canceled. i really had my heart set on going. i was also worried i wouldn't make it to folsom and other events because my return from down south was to take me out west instead of back to new york. what to do? what to do? im happy to say that it all worked out. i arrive on wednesday the 15th and will spend two weeks soakin it all in. theres something about san francisco that i just fuckin love.

the first big event wont be until the following weekend starting with a few pre-GayVN prison break parties around SoMa on the 23rd. then on friday at 6pm is the big night starting with photos, interviews and walking the red carpet with my date. remember, you can still vote for me for best bottom and fan favorite. for the second category you have to write my name in the "other" box (you have to choose one candidate in each category before you can submit your ballot). then theres the LOCKDOWN after party. its gonna be a long night.

saturday i'll probably be at the MAGNITUDE party. im on the fence about it. for some reason ive out grown or have little interest in big mega parties like these only because the music recently has been a supreme let down. now, i know MANNY LEHMAN is spinning and he's pretty awesome, ive know him for years so im hopeful... plus the crowds are so intense i cant seem to tolerate it for very long. we'll see how my mood goes.
