here's the dish... according to Gay Porn Times, Diesel Washington and Roman Heart have been selected to co-host this year's Grabby Awards. but im not out of the running yet. the spot for the third co-host has not been filled just yet and so PHASE TWO begins after the official announcement of the top ten contenders. if you remember, my buddy Wolf Hudson won last year.

im actually feeling pretty good about this. many of you have been writing to wish me luck, sending words of support and of course vote, vote, voting! from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! i'll be counting on you to get me to the stage in chicago this memorial day weekend. so get ready... the REAL competition begins NOW!

back in the 70's and 80's saturday morning cartoons were what we lived for after weeks of hell in school. i can remember wishing i had the ring, or the speed or the "s". wishing i could do the impossible, the incredible, the amazing. i wrote stories, poems and drew until i had no more pencils or crayons and acted out scenes in my bedroom as if i were the hero.

today, at 40 i watch in wonder and excitement as the dreamers and artists bring us everything we ever wanted... X-MEN, FANTASTIC 4, WOLVERINE, IRON MAN, SUPERMAN, SPIDERMAN and now...

hey kids... i got some news.

first up, some of you know that i'll be in los angeles next month so i've been touching base with friends how live there so to block out some time to catch up. you gotta do that or you never get to see anybody, ya know? well i just got off the phone with wolf hudson who by the by was one of last years co-hosts. his campaign was brilliant. his advice to me is to get creative. he also told me that this round of voting for those of us in the running is to land a spot in the top ten i think of contenders, then there will be a second round of voting for the actual gig! alright... im game! BRING IT!

one of the highlights of my hear, for the past two has been attending the International Mr. Leather conference and THE GRABBY AWARDS in chicago. my first IML/Grabby weekend was a simple gig to appear at the red carpet premiere of my second film House of Leather at the world famous Bijou Theater, Touche Bar and of course the Leather Masters booth at the host hotel for IML. what an experience.

part of the weekend ended up with me attending the grabbys, which i had no idea was happening until i was in chicago and i was invited to go. im mean, there were porn stars all over the place through out the weekend so i assumed they were all there for IML but as i went through a copy of GRAB magazine, it hit me... "HOLY SHIT!" this is gonna be a better weekend than i'd hoped for!

last year i was honored to be one of the presenters. this year? I WANT IT ALL, CO-HOST and maybe a nomination or two. look, my career in gay adult entertainment is not like some of my counter parts. its been an even coasting since my first movie back in december of 2007. many of my friends have contracts with some studios while other independent performers appear in more projects than i do. its because they live where all the action is really. but me, well i've worked with some of the same studios on projects that for me were HUGE! three years ago it was "MIKE DREYDEN WHO?" today, i have fans around the world who write almost every day! and im very grateful to say the least... you guys keep me going!

BOOTY CALL ~ DECEMBER REIVEW...

what a night! the weather was fuckin brutal! sub-zero temperatures with snow and sleet coming down and at the same time at moments it seemed. i thought the turnout would have been low but i was totally wrong. when i got to paddles, there were quite a few guys hangin around and checking in and i could hear others in the play rooms having a good time. all i really cared about at that moment was warming up. i was frozen to the bone.

i decided to drop my stuff in the private changing room aka the women's room which is closed off to the general admission and got comfortable which means i ditched my clothes, put on my jock strap and hung out near check in to greet everyone checking in, take photos, etc. spencer's bus was late so he arrived at 10:30 which was pretty perfect time wise. after getting him settled we then hung out together at check in.

after a couple of hours schmoozing, we were ready and it was show time! there were about twenty guys at the stage just waiting. we took the stage and put on a really HOT show! at one point when i flipped over onto my back i got a glimps of spencer's cock with a black condom on it. i was like "what the fuck is that" he said i hate black condoms... they make my cock look small" i laughed and said "trust me... it dont feel small...
