i have a question: did u ever do a porn scene in a synagogue where u were wearing religious articles like a yamulka, tefillin, tzitzit or a tallis? or what about cumming on a bible or a torah?

my reply...

no, i haven't. although i wore my kippah in a scene once, but it comes off as we undress... that movie isnt out yet. honestly speaking, i would never do something like that. i wonder if you'd ask me this question in person? probably not. don't ever write to me again!

Some people are close minded judgemental assholes. He doesn't know you, he hasn't walked in your shoes and he doesn't know your God or mine. Don't repond but do start a paper trail incase documentation is needed in the future. Definately hate mail you might ask if it has cross the line to hate crime. Good luck

Here is my take on this e-mail and your response. First I realize you will receive some crazy e-mails from guys. I don't think it will be a question most guys would ask in person. I wouldn't dare cross that line and ask a question like that because I have tack and class about myself. I think you did the right thing in putting the person in their place, but I would have explained that it is disrespectful to ask that. You have every right to be upset, but some guys have sick fantasies that they do wonder about that stuff. But after your response nobody will dare ask it again.

Hello Mike,

This is the first time I came upon your blog and I try to stay away from people who want others to disrespect their religion. There are more 'gay' people out there who want: gay catholics to ridicule the Catholic Church, gay LDS to make fun of the mormon religion, and gay jews to insult the jewish faith. These 'gay' people who insult faith in religious beliefs are not tolerant of people who hold these beliefs, yet they want the people who have religious beliefs to be tolerant of them. How hypocritical and unAmerican. I am sorry for them. Any way what I am trying to say is that if asked how do you reconcile being gay and jewish you should have an answer because that is a fair question. Asking if you would be disrespectful of your religious heritage is out of line. However, look at Madonna who constantly mocks her religious heritage. 'Celebrities' are sometime expected to make fun of their religious heritage. That is sad. And it seems to be that a lot of people seem to believe that gay porn should mock all religions. I lost where I was going with this. Oh, yea, I was thinking that our society in general has come to accept mocking religious faith and that is sad and unAmerican.
