IN THE GYM...
since discovering body building through my cousin dominic back when i was a lil fucker, i've been hooked. when ever we would visit, dom would show me how to do bicep curls and bench presses with his home weights, the kind that were made of plastic and filled with sand... very popular in the 1970's.
one of my favorite magazines is MUSCULAR DEVELOPMENT. it's filled with lots of underground information on steroid science and great reviews on the latest supplements and crazy interviews and articles from today's top body building competitors. the down side... its filled with FAAAAAAR too many ads and it costs almost like $7 bucks! you'd think the mag would be free with all the money they make from the ads they place!
recently i decided to pursue a personal training career because my love of fitness has always helped me to focus my thoughts and block out the world in order to connect or in some cases reconnect to my inner self and with all the great feed back from fans and friends alike, i thought i could help others meet their fitness goals. i had also been in a work out rut myself and wanted to change my routine. i hit the subway news stand to see what i could find that might inspire me to shake things up in the gym when i came across REPS! which was surprising because i'm a fitness/body building magazine junkie and i never saw this mag before! the latest issue is the summer 2009 issue featuring LIND WALTER on the cover.
anyways, i mention this mag because the routine and nutrition articles in the summer issue have blown me away. the abs workout alone will have your abs burnin and screamin! its one of the best i've ever done. so, check it out! you'll see great results in about two weeks and you'll be blown away too!
